What Motivated You to Join The PAWS Chicago 2009 Marathon Team?
I love what PAWS does, and what they stand for. I would love to devote time volunteering, but my schedule makes it pretty difficult. I figure this is the least that I can do.

Is this your first marathon?
Nope, ran for PAWS last year.

On mile 20, what will you think of to keep going?
Just keep on going and kick some butt. Oh yeah, and don't look at the bank's temp displays!

What obstacles, fears or challenges are you overcoming by running the marathon?
My biggest fear is that it will be hot again. I really would like to put in a good time, the heat just kills me.

Why PAWS Chicago?
I truly admire what PAWS is doing and all the great people that work there. I know that it must be such a heart breaking job at times and whatever I can do to help I want to do. I also believe in supporting something local and grassroots. I know that PAWS does not have the options for money that other larger charities do and I want to help raise the funds for the greater good of the animals.

Ran with them last year.
