What Motivated You to Join The PAWS Chicago 2009 Marathon Team?
My family's own little "Angel" was once homeless herself. She is now the queen of the world! I'd love for more people to experience the joy that comes with bringing a furry friend into their lives.

Is this your first marathon?
This is my 10th!

On mile 20, what will you think of to keep going?
My kids always work the waterstop at mile 25. At that point, I just want to see them.

What obstacles, fears or challenges are you overcoming by running the marathon?
That it is possible to do almost anything if we just keep being optimistic and moving forward. I also am "mom" to Bucky who was a homeless turtle that showed up on our driveway one day 8 years ago. He reminds me that slow and steady will get you there when all else fails - remember - left foot, right foot.

Why PAWS Chicago?
Just look in their eyes and you'll have the answer. Our furry friends are powerless without our help.

How did you find out about the PAWS Chicago 2009 Marathon Team?
I've know Paula since the very first Angels with Tails adoption event. Her enthusiasm is contagious.
