What Motivated You to Join The PAWS Chicago 2009 Marathon Team?
I was looking for a charity to partner with and have a long history of owning shelter pets and pets adopted as strays.

Is this your first marathon?
Almost. I ran one before, but it was in 1993.

On mile 20, what will you think of to keep going?
All of the pets waiting for forever homes that I am running for! Also my previously owned adopted pets.

What obstacles, fears or challenges are you overcoming by running the marathon?
I'm certainly getting older, so I want to know that I can still do something physically challenging.

Why PAWS Chicago?
PAWS has a great spay/neuter program and I like the no-kill shelter. I have always sought to support animal related charities.
