What Motivated You to Join The PAWS Chicago 2009 Marathon Team?
I adopted my best friend and running (squirrel chasing) buddy, Maury, about a year and a half ago. He motivates me to help the homeless "Maurys" out there. And since my wife has (heartlessly) limited the number of dogs I can adopt, this seems like the best way to do it.

Is this your first marathon?
Yes. I seem to have lost my sanity only recently.

On mile 20, what will you think of to keep going?
If I stop here, I won't have a ride home.
