What Motivated You to Join The PAWS Chicago 2009 Marathon Team?
Deciding to run the Chicago Marathon at all was a bit of an impulse. I figured if I was ever going to give it a shot, it would be now. After that, my decision to run for PAWS Chicago was a no-brainer. As a volunteer and adopter of my wonderful PAWS dog, Lucy, I couldn't think of a better organization to support than PAWS Chicago.

Is this your first marathon?
Yes, and I'm petrified!

On mile 20, what will you think of to keep going?
Only an hour to go, right? Yikes!

What obstacles, fears or challenges are you overcoming by running the marathon?
Staying motivated to keep up with all that training and proving to myself that I can do it. AND injuries - I really don't want any of those.

How did you find out about the PAWS Chicago 2009 Marathon Team?
I visit the PAWS Chicago web site daily, and once I saw the link to join the team, I was sucked in!
